Concerning our coaching staff, our connection with VILLARREAL C.F. provides access to high quality training methodology and coach education. Our highly experienced and highly qualified coaching staff is the ideal environment for dedicated coaches who are keen to open their minds to new ideas and progress their coaching careers.

Due to our obvious connection with Spanish football, Spanish qualified coaches are always welcome to express their interest in joining our coaching staff.

Also, we actively search for Australian coaches who see in the Spanish style of play and training methodology the best way to start or to progress their coaching careers.

Lead Coach

  • Qualifications: AFC or UEFA licensed coaches
  • Contract: casual

Expectations: If successful in the process, the candidate is required to go through the club’s technical onboarding process (estimated 10h) to get introduced to the fundamentals of MVFC’s training methodology, football identity and procedures. This onboarding process (coach education course) is at no cost for the employee.

Assistant Coach

  • Skills needed: passion for coaching and desire to learn.
  • Contract: casual

Expectations: If successful in the process, the candidate is required to go through the club’s technical onboarding process (estimated 10h) to get introduced to the fundamentals of MVFC’s training methodology, football identity and procedures. This onboarding process (coach education course) is at no cost for the employee.

MiniRoos & Junior Physical Development Assistant

  • Part-time
    Hours: 3 days/week, 4 hrs/day (5–9pm)
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Qualifications: Studying or completed Sport & Exercise Science / Fitness (preferred)
  • Experience: Working with youth athletes (U7–U18)
  • Other: Strong interest in physical training & injury prevention, good communication skills
