Community
What our community says.
Being Head of the Female Program at Monash Villarreal FC means everything to me. Football changes lives — and for girls and young women, it builds confidence, belonging, and the courage to dream big.
Growing up in Afghanistan, I saw firsthand how powerful football can be for girls — not just as a sport, but as a source of hope and strength. I'm proud to continue that journey here in Australia.
Watching our players grow every week — as footballers, teammates, and people — is what drives me. Female football has a bright future, and I'm honoured to help build it at Monash Villarreal FC.
Being a part of the Monash Villarreal female football program is a great experience that led me to be the player I am today. The style of football we play, supportive coaches and amazing teammates push us to work hard, strive to get better and most importantly have fun during every training session and game. Overall, I love being a part of the program and think it is a great way to become a better footballer.
From a very young age football has been a huge part of my life and a real passion of mine. Being a coach at Monash allows me to pass on my experience and knowledge to the next generation (boys and girls) and hopefully get them to be as passionate as I am. Seeing the joy on the players faces on game day makes all the hard work that goes on at training all worthwhile.
Being a female referee in the Monash Villarreal football program means more than just refereeing games. It has helped me understand football better and appreciate the challenges referees face during matches. It has also helped me grow in awareness, confidence and composure under pressure. I feel proud to be a role model for younger players and to represent females in a position that is traditionally male-dominated.
We were looking for a club for our son & a friend recommended Monash Villarreal. Right from the beginning we had a positive experience. The club was professional & responded to our inquiry well within a 24hr period, something we didn’t experience with other clubs. Our son absolutely loves Monash Villarreal! He has developed considerably over the past two years & continues to, under the guidance of coaches.
My son has been training in the GK Academy of Monash Villarreal for over six months, and he always returns from sessions both happy and exhausted.
Constantino is not only an excellent goalkeeper but also a fantastic coach for our kids.
He covers modern goalkeeping techniques and also focuses on overall fitness.
It is a privilege to be coached by Constantino at Monash Villarreal FC.
Both of my boys are extremely happy and feel as they progressed immensely since they began to be trained by Constantino.
Oz is a goalkeeper at an A-League Academy and he still longs to be coached by Constantino.
Training sessions are professional and provide actual development.
As a parent and as a former goalkeeper, I am very pleased with and highly recommend it.
My child started MVFC only a year ago, and we see drastic improvement in his football skills. He is thriving here and absolutely loves it. Thanks to highly qualified coaches, incredible technical director and an outstanding program that is individually tailored for young footballers. Monash Villarreal FC advanced program is perfect for kids who are 100% dedicated and serious about football. Everything is so well communicated and very well supported.
Excellent club for those who want to improve their football. We’ve been with the club for 7 years and have built a great relationship with coaches and the community. We have 2 boys who play at the club and our eldest has been on 3 international trips representing the club. Highly recommend!
We are so happy with our choice to register with Monash Villarreal - this is a club going places! The coaches are excellent - they are true professionals and are great with the children. The opportunities we have had with the club to play high quality games and to experience playing interstate and overseas have been amazing.
